Hallelujah Monkeyz Live at the Forum - 10/17/2017
Something is gonna happen tonight! And by “tonight” I mean Thursday October 5th, which is when Dillon and Trevor had the great fortune of seeing Gorillaz live at the Forum in Los Angeles, California. Will all of their Gorillaz live dreams come true? Or will they end up busted and blue? Most importantly... who’s Arthur? ...

"Demon Detour" (2005) & "iTunes Session" (2010) - 10/02/2017
There’s plenty of news to get excited about this week, as Damon Albarn premiers a new Gorillaz song and grows ever closer to his dream of seeing his beloved musical children brought to life via holograms. After that, Dillon and Trevor hop into the studio with various incarnations of the Gorillaz live band to check out the Demon Detour — a series of live tracks recorded to promote Demon Days in 2005 — as well as the group’s live iTunes session from 2010. Not all the performances are great, but hey, even the duds make for some “lively” discussion! ...

In what will surely go down in podcasting history as the worst episode of Hallelujah Monkeyz ever, Dillon and Trevor grit their teeth and sit through every excruciating minute of the nine phase two remixes included on the special edition of D-Sides. You're gonna need a lot more than a panda to hug if you want to get through this episode. ...

"Gorillazish Mix" (2001) & "Roadkill: The Mixtape" (2005)- 09/11/2017
After trying to figure out the most passive aggressive way to gaslight the firstborn son of Jamie Hewlett into appearing on the show, Dillon and Trevor take a better look at two former Gorillaz producers by checking out a pair of promotional mixtapes they created while working with the band: “Gorillazish Mix” — a phase one compilation tracing the musical influences of Dan “the Automator” Nakamura — and “Roadkill”, a phase two showcase of the group’s new collaborators directed by Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton. It’s a level of content-scrounging unlike any the show has seen before! ...

Interview with Dubversive of Spacemonkeyz / "Laika Come Home" Track-by-Track Review - 09/04/2017
With a Russian space dog at the helm and some reggae on the stereo, Dillon and Trevor set their controls for the heart of the dub and take an interstellar look at Laika Come Home -- with a little help from one of the Spacemonkeyz themselves, Dubversive! It's one small step for a dog, one giant leap for monkeyz everywhere. ...
